PUT IT ON THE BALLOT
St. Paul may be headed for an interesting debate this fall.
On Friday, the Minnesota Supreme Court ruled a new voting system can be used in Minneapolis. Called "instant runoff voting'' or "ranked choice voting,'' it allows voters to select candidates in the order of preference. Automatic "runoffs'' occur in the counting process until one candidate has a majority of votes.
