With 110 votes total from the on-line poll and in-store ballot box and five tasty options, the first choice tally revealed no majority winner

Horny Toad Pale Ale was in the lead with 32 votes, with Walnut Brown Ale, Rattlesnake Dopple Bock and Big Stinger Honey Wheat in a close race for second with 22, 21, and 19 votes respectively. Capital Hill Pilsner had the least first choice votes, 16, and with no statistical chance of winning, was eliminated.

Voters who ranked Pilsner first had their vote transferred to their second choice among the remaining brews. Horny Toad Pale Ale remained in the lead, but did not have the majority of votes.

Big Stinger Honey Wheat had the fewest votes, and was eliminated. The 19 voters who ranked Singer first, and 3 voters who ranked it second to Capital Hill Pilsner, had their next preference still in the race counted.

Horny Toad remined in the lead, with Walnut Brown ale in second, and Rattlesnake in third. With no brew gaining the needed votes to a declare majority win, Rattlesnake was eliminated.

Down to the top two vote getters Horny Toad Pale Ale gained the needed votes to become the majority winner!

 All first choices were tallied. Horny Toad Pale Ale finished in the lead with 29% of the vote.

Transfer round 1:  Capital Hill Pilsner was the lowest vote getter with 16 votes, and was eliminated. Voters who ranked this choice first had their vote redistributed to their second choice. 2 voters, without second preferences, were exhausted.

All votes were tallied again. There was no majority so another runoff was required.

Transfer round 2: Big Stinger Honey Wheat with the least votes (22 votes) was eliminated next. The 19 voters who ranked this choice first had their vote redistributed to their next preference still in the race, and 3 voters who ranked this choice second to the Pilsner had their third preference, or next preference still in the race, counted. Horny Toad picked up 12 votes, Walnut Brown Ale picked up 9 votes, and Rattlesnake Dopple Bock did not gain any votes. 1 voter, without another preference still in the race, was exhausted.

All votes were tallied again. There was no majority so another runoff was required.

Transfer round 3:  Rattlesnake Dopple Bock was in third place with 23 votes, was eliminated. Votes for Bock were redistributed to the remaining two candidates based on next preferences from these voters. 1 voters, without a preference for either candidate, was exhausted.

Horny Toad, in the original lead, gained the 12 needed votes to be declared majority winner in this final transfer with 61 votes and 58% of the vote!
