FairVote Minnesota Field Organizer Brian Bosire has come a long way, literally! Born in Kenya, Brian moved to the United States in 2002 for better educational opportunities. Raised in an environment where community values were championed, Brian was drawn to social-political issues. He earned a bachelor's degree in social science from Metropolitan State University and has since worked as an organizer for political and non-profit organizations. Brian credits his experience in organizing with inspiring him to seek a master's degree in advocacy and political leadership, which he plans to leverage as an advocate for social, political and economic issues.

  • Thomas Whittington

    , Organizer

Thomas believes Ranked Choice Voting is the future of democracy, which is why he joined Fairvote Minnesota in 2018 as a field organizer.  He brings valuable experience from his earlier work on presidential, legislative and municipal campaigns in Minnesota and other states. Thomas graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a certificate in human rights.

  • Nolan Schmidt

    , Organizer

Nolan will receive his bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Minnesota in spring 2018, but already has acquired extensive experience in community outreach and  education. Nolan’s passion? Creating a democracy that works for everyone. So it’s no surprise that he has lent his energy and expertise to Get Out the Vote and student registration initiatives at UMN, as well as interned with FairVote Minnesota in 2013 and 2014. We were delighted to welcome him back as a FairVote Minnesota field organizer in 2018.
