Ranked Choice Voting

Ranked Choice Voting is a simple change to the ballot that allows voters to rank candidates in order of their preference on the ballot. These rankings are used to conduct an instant runoff to ensure winners receive a majority of voter support. It is a commonsense reform that gives voters more choice and more voice, and fosters more civil, inclusive, participatory and representative elections. Learn more about Ranked Choice Voting.
